Journey Carathers, our beloved companion and cherished member of the Carathers family, will be peacefully welcomed into eternal rest on Tuesday, surrounded by love and gratitude for the beautiful life she shared with us.

Journey came into our lives in 2004 and quickly became so much more than a pet—she became family. For 22 wonderful years, she filled our home with unconditional love, comfort, loyalty, and countless precious memories. She was my one and only dog, my faithful companion through every chapter of life, and a constant source of joy.

Journey grew alongside my son, Julion, sharing in birthdays, holidays, milestones, and everyday moments that became treasured memories. Her tiny paws left an everlasting imprint on our hearts that time can never erase.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that this final act is one of love and compassion. We are choosing peace for Journey after a life so beautifully lived and so deeply loved.

Journey is survived by her devoted family: her loving mom, Joel Carathers, and her human brother, Julion Carathers.

Our sweet girl may be gone from our sight, but she will never be gone from our hearts. Thank you, Journey, for 22 years of unwavering love, faithful companionship, and unforgettable memories. You will forever be our baby.
