Rusty
February 25, 2011 – September 27, 2026 Aged 15 years
Rusty was a small but mighty dog who loved walks with his favorite people, he enjoyed playing tug with anyone he could get to play with him and he had been with us since he was just a month old, he lived a wonderful 16 and a half years with a family that loved him to the moon and back, a family that has protected him from small birds and neighboring chickens and while he is gone he will forever be missed and thought of as part of the family. The hearts he touched are broken at his passing but the heart of the little girl that grew up with him is fractured more than one can comprehend simply because he was her best friend and had been there through her heartbreaks and pain of life and growing up she would’ve done nothing but give her soul away to keep him around forever if only it worked that way of course. She called him bubba and while she got complaints from her parents for never calling him Rusty that wonderful dog always knew just who was saying his name when she would see him and her face would light up as she would crouch down and say “hi bubba” Rusty could tell her mood by how she would say the word bubba because he was the first thing she went to wether it was a bad day or an extraordinary day and she would sit there and pet him while telling him the story of how her day went and he would sit there and listen, they enjoyed each other’s presence and Rusty calmed her racing mind down everytime she was around him. Rest in peace my sweet baby boy Rusty and my youngest daughter’s Bubba, have fun playing in doggy heaven❤️🩹
Remembered with love in Watauga, Texas.
