Gilligan “Gilly”

Gilligan “Gilly” was born in the Spring of 2008. I was living alone, and a friend of mine said she knew of kittens needing a home. As soon as I saw Gilly’s picture, I was in love! He had the cutest face, just a ball of fur, energy, and mischief. 2 years later, I had my daughter. When I was pregnant, he would lay across my pregnant belly like he knew someone special was in there! Gilly was truly my baby before my human babies. I will miss him cuddling up with me at night, sitting on the bathroom vanity meowing for me to turn on the faucet so he could drink from it. He was very verbal, always “talking” I sure will miss our early morning chats buddy. You gave us 17 wonderful years. I could not have asked for a better companion. We saw a lot of changes together my friend, and today, I truly lost a piece of my heart. I hope you know how much you were loved. We will never forget the love and joy you brought to our home. Rest easy Gilligan. Until we meet again…
